Well, I’ve been living in Khartoum, Sudan for nearly six months and I thought it was about time to tackle one of my goals…keeping a blog.  I want to document this incredible journey filled with firsts!  First time teaching abroad, first time travelling to Africa, first time away from my family for an extended time, first time being an “expat”, first time being in a Muslim country,and the list goes on and on.

Here we go………better late than never!
