Just thought I’d give a little insight into the day-to-day life of being a teacher here at Unity High School. I’ve spent most of my career teaching in primary school, so things are a bit different for me being in a school with both secondary and primary happenings. I think there are a lot of things that must be very different here from the norm in the US but there are a lot of similarities….some of it is the vernacular, which I’m STILL trying to get used to.

THE CANTEEN – We don’t have a “lunch room” per se, the students purchase their lunch from the canteen and eat outside during break

Yes we have three ICT labs and they have classes at least twice a week
